British Columbia teaching assistant Kristin MacDonald, also known as 'Dommy Mommy' on OnlyFans, is caught in a dilemma as her school district, a subscriber to her content, urges her to deactivate her account or risk losing her job.

MacDonald, who has strived to keep her professional life and her 'Ava James the Dommy Mommy' OnlyFans account separate, finds herself in a precarious situation following an official complaint. This leaves her to choose between continuing her online activities and thereby supplementing her income or retaining her job in education, thus losing the income from OnlyFans.

MacDonald expressed her struggle with the cost of living in Vancouver, describing it as one of "the most expensive places in Canada". She fears that without her additional income from OnlyFans, she wouldn't be able to meet her financial responsibilities as a single mother.

Despite the current predicament, MacDonald remains passionate about her teaching role. She insists on her ability to simultaneously create risqué content and maintain her teaching career, stating, "I do believe that I should be able to continue on. I'm not hurting anyone. I'm not breaking the law."

In her attempt to destigmatize sex work, MacDonald advocates for more conversations about women embracing their sexuality and body pride. She hopes this situation will serve as a precedent for others who might face similar discrimination based on their involvement in sex work.

MacDonald receives support from her union and hopes to not be forced to choose between her OnlyFans account and her teaching profession.

However, this isn't the first time an educator has been in trouble due to their online activities. A US teacher was fired in November after students discovered she was creating adult content with her husband in their school, also citing low professional salaries as the reason for turning to OnlyFans.
